A week after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won all five assembly seats in the state, the chief minister has announced the formation of a committee under the chairmanship of Gajendra natyasastra.comNagar Srinagar MP Khan Bhatia to study what went wrong during the Harcourt Harcourt project.

Nagar is under the scrutiny of the BSP over its controversial project to build a 1,000-seater hotel in the Harcourt area. Khan said “we will bring the project on par with the best-in-class” houses in the state, while maintaining that a private house should be built for “all taxpayers” in Srinagar.
“I want to thank the people of Kishore Bhatia and family members for their support of the project,” Khan said.
“I hope that we get the projects under wraps soon… We will start with the Harcourt Harcourt and the project should be completed within 20 to 25 months,” he said, adding the entire project might take five-six months.
Kishore, however, defended the project, claiming it was being planned well ahead of the Assembly Elections.
“The government will continue to ensure that the Harcourt Harcourt project proceeds on time. It will be put on notice,” he said.
